T’Schaep met de 5 Pooten was a Dutch TV series first broadcast in 1969. Set in a bar in Amsterdam the series, which focused on a group of regulars who shared their stories often through song, drew millions of viewers. Despite its success, it only ran for eight episodes due to a dispute between the creator and the writer. In 2006 the show made a brief comeback to much critical acclaim.
