Radical Cut-Up Talk with Tamar Shafrir
15 June 2019

For the last six years, Looiersgracht 60 has hosted Sandberg Institute events, and this summer we are excited to be hosting the graduation show of the Sandberg Institute Radical Cut-Up department. Radical Cut-Up is developed and directed by curator, writer and artist, Lukas Feireiss.

The show is accompanied by a public event featuring Tamar Shafrir, a writer and researcher in the extended field of design (including architecture, visual culture, technology, and fashion). Shafrir was born in Israel and grew up near Washington, D.C. She studied architecture at the University of Virginia and contextual design at the Design Academy Eindhoven. She currently teaches at the Design Academy Eindhoven as co-head (with Agata Jaworska) of the Design Curating & Writing master’s programme.

Shafrir will talk about all the works on view while walking though the exhibition. The tour takes place on 15 June at 15:00 and is open to the public.
