Event I: Open Studio Weekend

Dates: 22 and 23 August 2026, from 12:00-20:00

During the Open Studio Weekend, visitors are invited into Yedidia’s temporary studio to encounter Impossible Bouquet as it unfolds. Moving between flowers, lace, collage, bodily forms and a new video work, Yedidia continues to interrogate the ways in which ideas of femininity, nature and the body are gradually collapsed into a shared cultural image. Works in progress, existing works and research materials will come together in the space, offering a closer look at the questions and processes guiding the residency.

Elsewhere in the space, Temporary Bookshop XXI will present a thoughtful selection of titles that have informed Yedidia’s research and wider artistic practice. Visitors are welcome to drop in between 12:00 and 20:00 and speak with the artist about the ideas and processes shaping the work.
