Artist Talk: Lard Buurman

On April 21 Looiersgracht 60 presents an artist talk with Lard Buurman, a Dutch artist whose (photographic) work is chiefly concerned with cities, how they work and the encounters between the people who live in them. Individuals from a variety of backgrounds are invited to attend and participate in an informal setting. The event is situated within‘Africa Junctions’, an exhibition by Buurman that is concerned with African cities and their characteristic fluidity. During the event, Buurman is available to the public - walking around the exhibition, answering questions and discussing the key themes of his work with those present.
